Description
Halo 2's Sanctuary returns, bringing competitive, symmetrical, two base Slayer and Objective game types to the forefront. Players should keep careful watch over their base to ensure that the Sniper Rifle and Shotgun are both in friendly hands, but those that neglect to venture out to the central structures will relinquish the Sword and the high ground to the opposition.
Tips
- Sightlines are everything on this map. It is small but open, with not many places to hide, but a lot of places to run. If you can master the art of deceiving your oponent, then you will dominate this map, especially in SWAT.
- The first spawn of the game and the next 10 seconds are always interesting. To avoid dieing before you even get your bearings, immediately strafe left or right to hide behind one of the pillars. If you go straight, you will probably be dead in the next few seconds. Go ahead, go for the sword, but remember that you probably won't get it, and if you do you'll be a target as long as you have it.
- The sword is always fought over viciously. However, before you try for the sword, think. This is a very small, open map, where someone can easily outrun you, outmaneuver you, or team up on you. Unless you are adept with it, you won't get the easy sword kills like you usually do on Sword Base or Reflection.
