Grunt

Grunts (Unggoy) are the cannon fodder of the Covenant. Standing roughly 3' tall, Grunts are relatively weak. They find strength in numbers and if led by a higher ranking ally, will stand and fight. However, if the local leadership is neutralized, will flee. Usually, grunts can be found equipped with Plasma Pistols, Needlers, Fuel Rod Guns, Plasma Grenades, or turrets. Grunt suicide squads are trained to charge the enemy with active Plasma Grenades in each hand. This usually happens once a leader is killed.
